My name is Konstantin and I am a hacker1.
I have been fascinated by computers for as long as I can remember. I studied computer science and was particularly interested in information & communication management and algorithms. In the course of the latter, I visited cryptography lectures, which I found very exciting. This is how my interest in IT security evolved. Nowadays, I am a pentester and team leader.
During my studies, I profited greatly from publicly available information on the Internet. As a penetration tester, not a day goes by that I don’t benefit from useful information in blogs, write-ups, GitHub repositories or Wikipedia articles. I hope that with my blog I can do my part to contribute to the community.
I love to understand topics in depth and realized that the best way to do so is to explain how they work. So maybe think of this blog as my notebook for technical stuff, IT security and anything else that interests me.

By this, I don’t mean that I am particularly talented, skilled or that I’ve pwned an incredible amount of crazy stuff. For me, hacking is a mindset. It means being driven by curiosity. It means to enjoy fiddling around with something not necessarily useful. It means trying to understand things in detail. It means to playfully devote to whatever you cherish. ↩︎
